Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

The short version: the only things this website saves in your browser come from our virtual assistant (the chat button): one cookie and one local-storage entry. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser to remember information about you, such as your preferences or the pages you visited. Similar technologies, like local storage or tracking pixels, work in a comparable way. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.

2. Cookies on this website

Only the virtual assistant uses them. The chat button on our home page is provided by Chatling. It saves this in your browser as soon as the page loads, even if you never open the chat:

  • A cookie (chtl_cus_…) with a random identifier, so the assistant can recognise your browser and keep your conversation. It lasts up to one year and is only sent to our own website.
  • A local-storage entry (chtl_last_pageview) with the time of your last visit, used to tell whether a new chat session should start.

Apart from that, infodatech.com:

  • Doesn't use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) or advertising pixels.
  • Doesn't use any other cookies or local storage.
  • Loads its fonts and images from our own server, not from third-party services that could track you.

The assistant's chat window is loaded from Chatling's servers. See what it sends them in our Privacy Policy.

Our hosting provider records basic technical data for each visit (server logs). That doesn't use cookies; it's explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. Other websites we link to

When you click a link to WhatsApp, Instagram or a client's website, you leave our site. Those websites may use their own cookies, under their own policies:

  • WhatsApp Privacy Policy
  • Instagram Cookies Policy

4. How to control cookies

You can see, block and delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. If you block the assistant's cookie, the website keeps working and the chat may not remember you between visits. Each browser explains how:

  • Google Chrome
  • Safari
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

5. Changes to this policy

If we ever add other cookies (for example, to measure visits), we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date before doing so and, where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent first.
