Privacy Policy
The short version: we only collect what you send us to get in touch (through the form or the chat), we use it to answer you, and we never sell it. This website uses no analytics and no advertising trackers.
1. Who we are
Infodatech Solutions LLC (“Infodatech”) is a digital studio based in the United States. We build websites, custom software and automations, and we provide servers, technical support and video editing services. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Infodatech Solutions LLC.
This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit infodatech.com or contact us.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address and the message you write.
- Virtual assistant (chat): everything you type in the conversation. Please don't share sensitive information, such as passwords or payment details, in the chat.
- Email, WhatsApp or Instagram: whatever you choose to include in your message, plus the contact details those services show us (for example, your phone number on WhatsApp).
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider records technical data when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page visited and the date and time. This is used only to run the website and keep it secure.
- Virtual assistant: when our home page loads, the chat service (Chatling) saves a cookie with a random identifier in your browser and receives that identifier, the address of the page, your language and your device type, plus your IP address and browser details like any service you connect to. This happens even if you never open the chat. It is used to run the assistant and remember your conversation; see our Cookie Policy.
What we don't collect
We don't use analytics tools, advertising pixels or any other tracking technology, and we don't use cookies other than the assistant's, described in our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use your information
- To answer your questions and send you the information or quote you asked for.
- To provide and maintain the services you hire us for.
- To keep the website working and protect it against abuse and spam.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
4. Legal bases (EU and UK visitors)
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we process your information on these bases:
- Steps before a contract, or the contract itself: when you ask about our services or hire us.
- Legitimate interests: answering messages, running and securing the website.
- Legal obligation: when the law requires us to keep or share certain information.
5. Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers that help us run our business, and only what they need:
- Website hosting: Cloudflare, Inc., which serves this website, runs the server code behind the contact form and keeps the server logs described above.
- Email delivery: Resend, which delivers form messages to our inbox.
- Virtual assistant: Chatling, which provides the chat, receives and stores your conversation with the assistant on our behalf, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
- Messaging platforms: if you contact us on WhatsApp or Instagram, those messages are also handled by Meta Platforms under its own privacy policies.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
6. How long we keep it
We keep messages, including chat conversations, for as long as we need them to answer you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our work together. After that, we keep them for up to 12 months, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. To limit spam, the contact form temporarily counts recent submissions per IP address; that count is deleted automatically after one hour. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period, according to its own policies.
7. Security
This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under California law or the EU and UK GDPR), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Object to or limit how we use it.
- Not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on your request, and we'll answer within the time the law requires. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there. When the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
11. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as WhatsApp, Instagram and our clients' websites. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information; please read their privacy policies.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are important, we'll make them clear on the website.
